first things first, wash

.wash your extensions 1-2 times per week

.in between shampoos we recommend to  “top wash” your hair.

this is done by taking the top section of your hair (above your first row)

washing and conditioning as normal.

.before showering, brush the hair

.always use high quality shampoo + conditioner

.use a light clarifying shampoo once a month

.gently shampoo, scrubbing lightly, then rinse.

.apply conditioner from midshaft to end and distribute

with a wide toothed comb. let sit for 5 minutes.

.use a hair mask twice a month

.do not use purple shampoo on your extensions

then dry

.after showering, use a soft cloth and "pat" your hair dry

.apply a high quality leave-in conditioner, heat protectant and oil

.let air dry or rough dry 90% (do not brush your extension when they are soaking wet, this will cause breakage)

.once air dried, brush using a wet brush or wide tooth comb. start from the ends of your hair and work your way up, brushing each row individually

.to smooth out your hair finish with a round brush or blowout paddle brush

.never sleep with wet extensions

the brush out

.moisturize your strands with a leave in conditioner or oil before before brushing

.brush your hair using a wet brush, paddle brush or wide tooth comb. this will prevent tangling and pulling the hair from the wefts

.brush in sections to make sure your hair is brushed all the way up to the track

.do not snag the beads/wefts, this can cause damage to your natural hair

.failure to section and brush out thoroughly can lead to matting near the root

dive

.keep hair pulled back in a low braid during sports and water activities

.always apply a leave in conditioner before diving in the water

.while we don't recommend going in chlorine with hair extensions, if you do, it is important to thoroughly wash your hair with a light clarifying shampoo afterwards
